Suspect Accidentally Shoots Self

Kemp - Kaufman County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call on February 2nd about 12:09 pm. in regard to an accidental shooting. Tommy Wayne Jackson, 34, of Tool was supposedly hunting birds on a property located in the 16000 block of County Road 4052, when witnesses said he tripped and shot himself in the leg.

Stolen property recovered in traffic stop
Four arrested in theft of truck, trailer
(2/2/2012) CRANDALL - A traffic stop on a green Dodge pickup truck pulling a white cargo trailer without current tags, tail or brake lights, resulted in a stolen truck out of Balch Springs and a trailer stolen out of Mesquite being recovered by Kaufman County deputies. (2/2/2012) TERRELL - Arrested and charged with burglary of a building and theft of copper were Krystal Marie Milton, 29, of Rockwall and Anita Perez Ortiz, 34, of Seagoville.
